Because the place is surrounding by pubs, the hotel carpet is dirty, rooms air-con is hot, toilet door nob is broken, hand wash basin is leaking, wall fan is out of order, the toilet exhaust fan is out of order, hair dryer is out of order, thermos sealed with cloth-tape. The website photos are not the real palace inn is. In other words, this inn is not suitable even for small family (2 Adult + 1 child - under 10). For my 3 days stay there is just like a nightmare to me. I think Cosy Inn (RM58) much more clean then palace inn (RM75) with a very affordable rate.

Nothing is best. The hotel are poorly managed and needs major make-over.
I didn't like the room, looks too old and not properly maintain.

The fact that the air con worked
incompetent staff, dangerous expose wiring in bathroom, broken fan, 4 out of 5 lights didn't work, dirty room and most of all the extremeley LOUD music blasting out from the hotel's "cafe" until midnight - heard with full clarity 2 floors up.

Location. Rate.
Not clean. Leaky toilet, water all over bathroom floor. Receptionist was playing loud music on radio when we arrived at 22:00, which you could still here at our room at the 2nd floor...

Location is near to the town centre
1. I was charged 16% higher than the advertised rate and which the staff in attendance (during checking-out) not able to explain. 2. House keeping and maintenance were poor. 3. I could not use my credit card to pay the hotel.

The TV channel was very few. Only 2 Astro channel which is HBO and Sport channel. However the sport channel not even clear to watch.
